Our Dental Assistants play an important role in helping each day run smoothly—from preparing treatment rooms and assisting our doctors to making sure every patient feels comfortable and cared for.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and materials
- Assist doctors using four-handed dentistry
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection-control standards
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Complete laboratory tasks as directed
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with scheduling and other patient-related needs as needed
- Help create a positive, efficient experience for both patients and the dental team
What We're Looking For
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection-control procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
- Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable using computers and dental office technology
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental assisting education or certification preferred
- EFDA training/certification is a plus
- Coronal polishing certification/experience is a plus
